New rules regarding COVID-19 tests
From January 26, 2021, there is a requirement for a negative COVID-19 test for all air passengers entering the US. Passengers are required to get a viral test within the 3 days before their flight to the US departs, and provide written documentation of their laboratory test result (paper or electronic copy) to the airline or provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19. Read more on the website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Before January 26, there is not a requirement for passengers to be tested before travel unless they are traveling from the UK. The CDC recommends travelers from other countries get tested 1-3 days before their flight.
